Mix BwÉ [AvP] - "HouseMusicIsFun"

What it lacks in comfort and convenience, a pair of iron undergarments compensates for in symbolism.

It is for entirely extraneous reason, though, that a public performance with such attire is difficult. Not necessarily grandiose, the goal of a ten-minute duration was not achieved. The results were less than optimal.

On the other end of the spectrum exists the willful act of been bound. Tasteless transitions aside, 50 Shades of Grey has become more mere pulp fiction. The infamous romance novel has since graduation from book-bondage to major motion Picture; etching itself into the pop culture conscience all the while. As such, the proper musical accompaniment is required. Outsourced to Canada, the lead single, "Earned It,"  came care of Toronto's The Weeknd.

What follows is a remix from the inimitable Mix BwÉ. No stranger to movie themes, the beat-maker's last release took on "My Love" by Sia from the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack; a LyCoOx collaboration that has, unfortunately, been deleted. While a similar fate may befall the track in question, the author hopes for the best. Titled "House is Fun," the track is a mid-tempo afro-house brought together by a kick/snare/hi-hat beat. Mix BwÉ begins the song after running through original introduction; never really sampling much else. In a concise ninety-seconds, the track runs through three sections differentiated by two different beats and use of vocals. A fairly stripped track, only synth is added as the bass plays hotter than a venus in furs.

Listen to the song while possible. All Mix BwÉ related conspiracies will be addressed at a later date

Notable Mention: Rae Sremmurd - No Type (Maramza No Brainz Mix)

Released earlier today, the track below is an entirely different kind of house.

Also, in contrast to the last Rae Sremmurd remix featured on these pages, Maramza has not given the MikeWillMadeIt production a genre make-over. The tempo is quick, the groove is heavy, and the rhythm is reminiscent of late 90s, early 200s London. A 4/4  kick drum and hi-hat create the garage rhythm while a snare drum swings. Diverse but not cluttered, finger snaps and slaps are heard as well. Two Instrumental section are separated by the two loops of the hook. If nothing else, South Africa's Maramza makes a strong case for being considered a bass fiend.
