Dj BeBeDera "Tarraxo Suicida"

Liquidate the cheeseburgers.

The internet has officially moved-on.

Sure, pockets of interest still exist. If nothing else, the cyber world is an excellent platform for connecting diverse folk with obnoxiously specific interests. Forums exist for medieval instrument making. Likewise, the web's more obscure corners might fixate on newscasters wearing boots. So, if nothing else, cats pictures provided a formidable force able to uniquely unify the senseless sea of cyber silliness.

Goats have since become a new favorite.

Of course, the kicker is the alternative meaning; an acronym frequently seen on social media for "Greatest of All-Time"  in varying degrees of seriousness. The result is a label nearly devoid of meaning. But such is the inevitable nature of superlatives. Technically speaking there can be only one -est i any field; and while Dj BeBeDera is by no means the dance music equivalent of the Highlander, a case can be made for ,oving up on the food-chain.

Although originally released as part of a larger compilation in December by French label Bazzerk (including Nidia Minaj, Dj Wayne, and LyCoOx among others), the song below merits examination. Titled "Tarraxo Suicida," the beat-maker takes a page out of Machiavelli. A blow is not always required, but when used by a prince, no mortal should recover. The pace of operation, however, is slow. A kick/snare establishes the languishing rhythm with a high pitched hitch on the quarter notes. Djembe and a shaker are used to syncopate as well as a collection of three vocal samples. The enormous sound of a timpani appears to be heard as well. Rather than groove, the bass flanks the rhythm to further the languid feeling home. Differences in the melody mark the changes - the song progressing, then working backward Introduction-A-interlude-B-C-interlude-D-B-A - whether it is the sound of Asian strumming, xylophone or synth.

An exceptional track is exceptionally busy; the secondary achievement is the simply to ability to organize all the available sounds.

Notable Mention: Dj Zulox feat. Dj BeBeDera - "TarraXo FodênCiado Somos Nos"

Appropriately enough, a goat, or a distant relative of one, adorns the second feature; an easily superior cut.

Ironically, the title alone destines the song greatness

The author, a minor language nerd in his own right, feels a desire for sharing the relevant explanation. Consider that the term "fodêr" bucks an English translation. Simply put, the distant relative of Germanic has no equivalent word. The nearest example is must be found romantically in the Spanish term "joder." Both are infinitive verbs and equally difficult to define, their usage is just as ambiguous. It is the context of a sentence that determines both how the word is used and the level of vulgarity. "Joder la paciencia," for example, is a brusk way of saying, basically, "To bug someone;" whereas an exasperated "que jodienda" is closer to something like "what fuckery."

With this background now established, it is now possible to say that what follows is a song bassically titled "A Fucked Tarraxos - It's Us."

Now the featured artist, BeBeDera comes in to assist frequent collaborator Dj Zulox. The song is much more loosely structured. Initially, the rhythm is laid down by a quaint djembe with claps to syncopate. The shaker - which takes on two appearances - carries the groove as much as the bass. Whistles and the same stringed instrument that appears above carry the melody with vocal samples. Essentially, "TarraXo FodênCiado Somos Nos" patiently unpacks, but halfway through the record flips. BeBeDera maintains the bass and shaker as new percussive elements, two metal instruments the author cannot identify, become the centerpiece as an amorphous synth sound carries the melody.

The download is highly recommended
