[VIDEO] Karlitera - "Botão"

Vince Lombardi may have been a wise man in his day and age. But hold the old ball coach up t twenty first century standards of skepticism and the Hall of Famer does not stand a change.

And so it is with this premise that the author must say:Ignore the man's followers. The words these walking wheels of cheese are wont to speak are of zero value. Winning is not the only thing. Victory, as is the case, may not even be the most important thing. After all, to be triumphant is only a product of setting goals and surpassing them.

Thus reads the mantra of Karlietra: "Se essa música não fazem sucesso eu prefiro perder gaz"

The scarce scene is wrought with rust.  At a destination off the beaten path,  a de facto dance floor is established among rising clouds of dust. Sights are reminiscent of the "Não Faz Isso Bella" video, but it is here in a backalley workshop, that the first of many dancers appear.

Karlitera - part-time kudurista, full time hoop-earring aficionado - is determined. In plain view of laborers and gossipers alikem a pair of Nikes shuffle and a wave of colors floods the camera.  While clad in spandex, a gentleman maintains his lower back stiff. The style undeniable and the intention is clear. As with "Puxa Puxa," Karlitera is but one, charismatic man with a hairstyle for the ages; and like to Damagical, the man appears to have mastered the art of self-multiplication as well.

At any rate,  party  is coming to the streets. Insurance, too, has been purchased. Plenty of propane is present so in some capacity a fire is sure about to be set.

Released this past summer "Botão," is full of energy and does not disappoint. More may provided in the way of a chorus than verses proper, but the Única peça Produções and Dj Padux (of "Agachamento," fame) does its due diligence. The track is an afro-house banger. A decidedly slender production - two synths provide some semblance of a melody -the main beat is punishing. Beyond martial rigidity, the drums simply play loudly while a bell strikes on the odd beats. A djembe complete the elegance in polyrhythmic simplicity.

Certainly a sucesso
